Changing the world is truly a daunting task. But you can change the world of one little child, and we have made the step forward a bit easier with our Sponsor a Childhood program. How many times have you seen an unfortunate child and wished you could do something? How often have you wondered how to change a child’s future but not known how to go about it? Wishes and sunrise provide the opportunity to make a valuable difference in the lives of underprivileged children who have been denied the most basic right, the Right to Education.
It is relatively easy to establish an NGO, institution, or shelter home but extremely difficult to sustain and improve the living standard of the beneficiaries. Unfortunately, hundreds of shelters and NGOs shut down every year due to a lack of resources and operational difficulties. Subsequently, many children and adults are left homeless and helpless. Compelled by harsh circumstances, they resort to begging, sleeping on the streets, and eventually turn into anti-social elements
In order to solve this problem, Wishes and Blessings lends a helping hand to institutions that are doing meaningful work but need extra support to make their efforts sustainable. While doing so we establish formal partnerships with the identified institutions and they become a part of the Wishes and Blessings family.
In all our partner homes, we invest in long-term meaningful relationships and work towards achieving a common objective of making a difference. Interestingly our partnerships are symbiotic and we have often seen our partners actively participate in our diverse projects. This reinforces our belief that partnerships are the only way forward.
